Scope your building for RAAC, free
Walk the building with your phone. Mark each area on the plan, record what you find, add photos and voice notes, and get a clear scope survey report your surveyor can work from.
Works on iPhone, Mac, Windows and any browser. Saves as you go, with or without signal.

How it works
A scope survey answers the first questions: where could there be RAAC, can you see it, and what will a full survey need to reach it.
Upload your plan
Use the fire evacuation plan or any floor plan, as a PDF or a photo. Tap once in each room and it is labelled for you, or use the room names you already have.
Record each area
One tap gives each area a RAAC status. Add photos, measurements, access notes and quick voice notes as you walk round.
Get the report
A scope survey report with your marked up plan, every area's status and photos, and the areas that need a full survey. Share it as a PDF or a web page.

RAAC Report helps you gather and organise information. It does not confirm RAAC. Only a suitably qualified surveyor or structural engineer can confirm whether RAAC is present and how serious it is. Do not drill, fix to or disturb a suspected RAAC panel.

Questions
What is RAAC?
Reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) is a lightweight concrete used mainly in flat roof panels, and sometimes in floors and walls, in buildings from the 1950s to the mid 1990s. It is weaker than ordinary concrete and can fail with little warning, so buildings of that era need checking. Schools, hospitals and other public buildings are the most common places it is found.
Can I use RAAC Report without being a surveyor?
Yes. Site and estates managers can use it free to walk their building, mark each area on the plan, take photos and record what they see. The report helps a qualified surveyor or structural engineer plan the survey. Only a suitably qualified professional can confirm RAAC.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Everything is saved on your device as you go, so it works in basements, plant rooms and roof voids. It syncs to your other devices when you are back on Wi-Fi.
What does the scope survey report include?
A summary of every area and its RAAC status, your marked up plans, a write up and photographs for each area, and a schedule of the areas that need a full RAAC survey with the access and methods each will need.
Where is my data kept?
On your device, and if you sign in to sync, in a secure cloud database in London that only your account can read. See the privacy notice.
